June has been a great month to celebrate with Pride dancing once again on Toronto streets, parks and patios.
This week, and throughout the Canada Day long weekend, the 35th Annual Jazz Festival outdoor venues highlight tremendous talent and what a great city we live in. The performance schedule is linked below with a venue map.
Yorkville and the surrounding Bloor Street shops and restaurants are featured in the Toronto Life article Yorkville The Ultimate Summer Destination that will surely wet your appetite and inspire your wardrobe.
One of Yorkville's finest Victorian homes, 25 Berryman Street, is now for sale and a great venue unto itself with a lush private garden, grand modern kitchen, four boutique hotel-style bedrooms, and over 3700 square feet including the lower level with fitness room. It is featured in BlogTo this month!
If you are looking to lease in Yorkville we have a Four Seasons Private Residences two bedroom suite coming to market in July. And although we just sold our two bedroom listing at 18 Yorkville Avenue we can help you buy, sell or lease in the Yorkville / Annex neighbourhoods to enjoy this fabulous lifestyle.
We have seen less sales activity in June with inflation concerns and interest rate hikes yet the unemployment rate remains one of the lowest on record and interest rates are still historically low. Compared to the height of sales activity in May 2021 to May 2022 an average of 30% less activity was recorded across all home types while sale prices were on average 10% higher. The market has changed providing a more balanced environment for buyers and sellers where home sales are negotiated and not bid for blindly in competition.
Please let us know if we can help you move.
Wishing you a great Canada Day weekend,
Lisa Marie (LM), Linda, Lori and Cherry
