Madonna is living in a material world: The singer is looking to make a quick flip after buying a Los Angeles-area home from R&B star The Weeknd last year.

The 63-year-old “Queen of Pop” has relisted the property, located in the star-studded Hidden Hills enclave, for $25.995 million, according to public records and the local multiple listings service. If it sold for that sum, it would mark a significant profit over the $19.3 million she paid for it in April 2021, records show.

Representatives for Madonna didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

The nearly 3-acre property sits at the end of an olive tree-lined driveway with a “storybook bridge,” according to the listing with Trevor Wright of the Beverly Hills Estates. A two-story wall of windows allows natural light to fill the foyer of the roughly 12,000-square-foot main house.

The house has seven bedrooms, a home theater and a study. A great room has an indoor-outdoor bar and adjoining outdoor living room, and a formal dining room has a fireplace and a glass wine cellar. The property also has a “music lounge,” according to the listing.

The Material Girl appears to have added her own touch to the property: The house has a newly built gym and a studio for dance or Pilates, the listing says. Mr. Wright didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

The property also includes a two-bedroom guesthouse, a saltwater pool, a 10-person spa and a full-size basketball court, according to the listing.

The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, paid $18.2 million for the property in 2017, records show. He has since upgraded to a nearly $70 million mansion in Bel-Air. He didn’t respond to a request for comment.

The gated Hidden Hills community has long drawn some of Hollywood’s biggest names, including the Kardashians. Hip-hop star Drake recently sold a pair of neighboring houses in the area to L.A. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford for $11 million.

Madonna, who shot to stardom in the 1980s with hits such as “Like a Virgin” and “Papa Don’t Preach,” is working on an upcoming movie about her life. Last year, Madonna announced that she was teaming up with her original music label, Warner Music Group, in a deal that includes reissued albums and new deluxe editions over the next few years.
