Joni Mitchell on the Verge of Tears, Isle of Wight - $4,000 USD
This photograph was taken when Joni Mitchell performed for the unruly and uncontrolled crowd at the Isle of Wright festival in England in 1970. The crowd, larger than Woodstock, heckled and interrupted her during her controversial set, but Joni persisted and quelled the crowd to perform an incredible set even returning to stage for an encore. This was the last festival put on at the Isle of Wright until 32 years later.
