Could we have a more heartbreaking month of love? February 2023 has been challenging on an epic scale with war, earthquakes, and freezing temperatures dominating the news. It brings home how fortunate we are to enjoy family, friends, and our future plans.
After almost a year of adjusting to interest rate hikes, buyers are back planning their future with less buying power but lower home prices...in most cases. Lack of inventory has brought us back to offer dates in some areas while other properties sit at pre-pandemic prices without an offer.
TRREB January 2023 GTA sales stats below highlight the dramatic market shift from the peak of 2022. It will be interesting to see how the next couple of months unfold once we move away from headline-grabbing stats and compare the quieter months of 2022 with 2023 sales.
