Well folks, the time has almost come to kiss 2021 goodbye. After all that this year put us through, we aren’t very sad to see it go, but we definitely have high hopes for the new year. At the very least, we can start 2022 on a high note at one of the many New Year’s Eve events taking place around the city.

Whether you’re ready for a sky-high soirée, a trip to old Hollywood, a groovy 70s dance party, or an enchanted night at the museum, Toronto has just the year-end event for you.

Here are 11 of the best and biggest New Year’s Eve events happening in Toronto this year!

CN Tower New Year’s Eve

Celebrate the new year surrounded by good company, great food, and spectacular views of the city from the CN Tower’s 360 Restaurant. Dine on the 4-course with amuse bouche Canadian-inspired menu by Executive Chef John Morris and toast to new beginnings with a glass of bubbly. Vegan menus are available on request!

Enchanted Night

Toronto New Year’s Eve Fireworks

What better way to welcome the new year than with a fireworks show? The city will put on a dazzling fireworks display for the first time since the pandemic on December 31st, but it’ll be modified to keep big crowds from forming in one place. The “10-minute, high-altitude fireworks display” will be held at several locations along the waterfront, visible from the Scarborough shoreline all the way to Etobicoke.
