Garment Factory Lofts

Completed by Atria Developments and designed by Core Architects, Garment Factory Lofts sits between the Printing Factory Lofts and the Wrigley Lofts at 233 Carlaw Ave. The original four stories of the building have been converted in to lofts with restored concrete floors, large warehouse windows and exposed 11’+ concrete ceilings. The structure has been extended by four additional floors on top of the original structure, designed with an articulated combination of glass, steel, brick.

 

The blending of traditional hard lofts with new soft lofts mean that the Garment Factory represents both the old and new of Toronto, and captures the essence of loft living that the residents here enjoy on a daily basis. The building mechanics have all been upgraded to reflect up-to-date technology and each unit has individually controlled heating and air conditioning, individually metered gas, hydro and water service with each balcony and terrace units being equipped with a gas hook-ups The building stands a total of 8-storeys and contains 150 lofts.
